But the problem is, once you have something, you may not realize how valuable it is until you lose it.

Once you have something, you don’t realize how much you miss having it until you don’t have it anymore. When I was a kid, my dad used to say that if I wanted something, I would never stop until I got it. He said that there are many things that are important in life that are not needs, but wants.

Things like friendship, health, good grades, and good behavior are all things every kid should want every day. But they are not needs. They are nice-to-haves.

Adventures are another thing that many of us wait for our whole lives to have them yet never get them because we never go on them. It is also very important to enjoy the moment because after the moment passes, your memory will always remind you of what you did rather than what you didn’t do.
